SFR Foundation plans to tackle the water crisis of Sindh through a new 5 million PKR research on the issue. ‘An investigation on the causes, impacts and prevention of floods and droughts within the coastal belt of Sindh’ would form the elementary ground of SFR Foundation’s future work towards improving the water situation of Sindh. The outcomes from the high-level research will not only be used to potentially develop a practical and cost-effective prototype to alleviate the predicament, but also by the lobbying wing of SFR Foundation to provide the government with a clear set of actions to improve the water situation.
