Adil Rahoo is the Chairman of SFR Foundation and a social activist born in Pakistan. Formerly, in his student life, he was elected as the 1st international Student President of Glasgow Caledonian University and also elected as the leader of 150,000 students of Glasgow City as the 1st international Chairman of Glasgow Students Forum in August 2020. Rahoo graduated with a 1st-Class Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management from Glasgow Caledonian University. During his education, Rahoo was awarded the University’s most prestigious award, the Common Good Award for his services towards the local community in Scotland. He was later also named as the Student of the Year of the University in 2020. After becoming a student politician in the United Kingdom, Rahoo’s educational and political story was featured on several Pakistani news reports and articles including on The News International, GEO News, Jang News, Sindhi Times and others. He was publicised for lobbying key political figures for the students in Scotland including lobbying for and inaugurating the Free Under-22 Bus Travel Scheme with the First (Chief) Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon. Rahoo was known to lobby other key political figures such as Richard Lochhead, Jamie Hepburn, Patrick Harvie as well as Pakistani politicians.

Shahnaz Rahoo, born in Pakistan, has been a prominent social activist since her early ages. As the daughter of Shaheed Fazil Rahoo himself, Shahnaz became sensitised to the sufferings of deprived masses particularly the poor peasants and marginalized minority families of Sindh. At a young age, she became the founder and 1st President of ‘Sindhyani Tahreek’ (Sindhi Women’s Movement) in which she toured and organised women all around Sindh to unite for their fundamental social and democratic rights. In 1983’s Movement of Restoration of Democracy (MRD) Movement led by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s widow, Madam Nusrat Bhutto, Shahnaz led Sindhyani Tahreek in support of MRD movement and organised dozens of voluntary imprisonments of women in Sindh against the military dictatorial rule of General Zia-ul-Haq.
Shahnaz Rahoo is a philanthropist and an enthusiastic writer by which she has remained as an editor in multiple periodical publications.
